A smaller renovation that packed a punch, we were able to work on two bathrooms that were in major need of some updates. Our client requested something a little moody, maybe a hint of patina, and a nod to the "West" without being too literal. Challenge accepted.

The main level bath originally doubled as a family bathroom, as well as a guest powder bath. There was an awkward corner shower that didn't currently work, and the tiny space actually had two doors. We ditched the shower, closed up the bedroom access to create a true powder bathroom, and leaned into the moody vibes with tapestry wallpaper, that green toilet we've been dying to use, and a couple of hand selected antiques.

The basement bathroom needed to keep the low ceiling due to some previous ducting work, but we were able to partially raise the ceiling over the vanity and shower head. By going darker with the color palette, it helps make the room feel less linear. We also wanted to break up the space and add some privacy with a toilet partition. Mixing materials and textures also helps keep it from feeling to plain.
